BADO are holding an Informal Orienteering 45 Minute Score Event on Monday 16th September 2019.
The event is around the streets of Alresford and by the beautiful clear waters of the river Itchen. Alresford is 15 miles south of Basingstoke. The event format is simple to understand and suitable for people with no orienteering experience.
The event centre is the Cricketers Inn, Jacklyn’s Lane, Alresford, SO24 9LW. Registration is from 5:45pm to 6:15pm and starts between 6:00pm and 6:30pm (sunset is at 7:18pm – so best to be as early as possible)

Non members are welcome as we are keen to use this simple format to introduce new people to BADO. Please bring as many people as you can – just tell Mike who is coming.
Run, jog or walk to visit as many of the controls as you can in 45 minutes, you just need a pen or pencil to answer the simple question to prove that have been to the control point.
We are using EMIT timing to log your start and finish time. If you do not have an Emit block then do not worry as we can provide one on the night.
