Urban Orienteering Weekend
Come and enjoy a weekend of Urban Orienteering in North Hampshire on Saturday 17th June 2023, BADO are holding an event in the picturesque town of Whitchurch. This event is part of the UKUL and of the SEOUL.

We are using touch free Emit for the event. This is the first time that Whitchurch has been used for a day Urban orienteering event, the map was created in 2022 and has been updated in May 2023. The area has good mixture of terrain with modern and older housing estates, industrial park, water meadow, open common and steep disused railway embankments. The area has the lovely clear water chalk river Test running through the town, go and see the trout in the river after your run or maybe visit the heritage working Silk Mill.
The event will have the full range of Urban courses that are detailed on the flyer and on Racesignup.
Southern Navigators (SN) on Sunday 18th June 2023 are holding an urban event in Farnborough. This event has been added to the SEOUL. It is also open on Racesignup for entry.

This is a revisit to an area that has various estates that can be tricky to navigate with Cove Brook running through the area you have to make sure you pick the right crossing point.
SN are likely to take you into areas that you did not visit on your last run their.
We encourage you to take this rare opportunity to run on 2 urban events in North Hampshire when the light evenings are with us and the opportunity is their to some afternoon/evening exploring in the area.
