It was a pleasure to see so many people (460 competitors in total) enjoying the event on Sunday, which was the result of a lot of hard work from the club members of BADO, who had also turned out to help the night before for the Southern Night Championships.
It was also good to be able to host the Army Inter-Corps Championships over the week end, and we thank the military for their support in providing extra personnel to help with road crossings and car parking.
Having now organized an event, I am much more aware of the hours of time that people put into mapping, planning and controlling. I pass on my thanks to those who undertook these jobs for both events over the week, thus enabling so many competitors to get out into the area and have fun!
On a more prosaic note, there were a number of items of lost property: Saturday - head torch.
Sunday - black socks, one black glove, one red gaiter (it was brown when it was found!). Please contact me if you any of the above is yours.
